The Alexandra Wellbeing House otherwise known as “The Alex”

The Alexandra Wellbeing House, in Gloucester, was officially opened on Wednesday 5th July by the Countess of Wessex.

The house is a joint project between Swindon Mind and 2gether NHS Foundation Trust, supported by NHS Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group.

The house caters for adults needing up to two weeks of support, therapy and advice. The five bedrooms, along with a shared living room and cooking facilities, will be particularly used by people in mental distress.

We have been busy carrying out refurbishment work on the house, helped by the Volunteer team at Nationwide, and we are looking forward to opening the doors to people who need our support.
