Swindon Mind are now delivering the Mental Health First Aid Youth courses.

These courses are funded by Swindon Borough Council and they are particularly useful for staff who work in schools.  Our Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) courses are for anyone who works with, lives with or supports young people aged 8-18. We train the adults in a young person’s life to have the skills and confidence to step in, offer first aid and guide them towards the support they need. In doing so, they can speed up a young person’s recovery, stop issues from developing into a crisis, and ultimately save lives.

The cost to attend one of the scheduled courses is £25 per person (this covers the workbook and the manual that each attendee receives).  Costs will vary if we are delivering a bespoke course to an individual school or organisation.  Dates for upcoming courses are advertised below; if you are interested in attending or would like more information please contact Luke Jones on
